The second annual National Parliamentary Debate Invitational clearly established the tournament as the best fall parliamentary debate tournament with a break to elims saw four top-shelf teams battling it out the semifinal round. After a grueling 7 prelims, Dougherty Valley Konath & Wang successfully ran the daunting elim gauntlet by defeating Evergreen Valley Gollabinie & Subramani, Granite Bay Klaeser & Ontiveros, and Bishop O'Dowd Walsh & Zepeda to claim the "Artem Raskin Award for Parliamentary Excellence." Konath & Wang dropped only two ballots during their exceptional run: a seventh round prelim loss to Bishop O'Dowd Perl & Viviani and the great Artem Raskin's ballot in the final round's 4-1 split wherein the Dougherty duo successfully negated the resolution "The USFG should significantly reduce sanctions against Iran."

Dougherty Valley is coached by Ben Fagan. Bishop O'Dowd is coached by Jon Thorpe. Bishop O'Dowd's Marco Zepeda was the invitational's top speaker.
